Child and Youth Religious Education
Our Vision ✨
At Fourth U, we are passionately dedicated to fostering an inclusive community where people every age can deepen their Unitarian Universalist journey. Our vision embraces spiritual growth, critical thinking, and heartfelt empathy—cultivated through structured learning, compassionate care, and welcoming practices that embody the very principles of Unitarian Universalism.
Core Concepts and Practices 📚
- Covenant: We stand together, supporting each other’s spiritual journeys and building the bedrock of our community.
- Principles: Guided by eight inspiring principles—dignity, justice, acceptance, truth, democracy, peace, interconnectedness, and the commitment to dismantle oppression.
Sources: Drawing wisdom from six rich sources, including personal experiences, prophetic words, world religions, Jewish and Christian teachings, humanist insights, and Earth-centered traditions.
Our Educational Approach 🌱
We celebrate a holistic approach to learning that engages every facet of the mind, heart, and actions:
- Cognitive: Ignite curiosity and critical thinking while diving deep into UU principles and sources.
- Affective: Cultivate empathy, spiritual growth, and a profound sense of belonging.
- Behavioral: Empower active participation and the practical embodiment of UU values in everyday life.
Who We Are 🤝
At Fourth U, we proudly embrace a culture of safety, engagement, and respect:
- We Are Safe: A commitment to a secure space free from physical or verbal aggression.
- We Are Engaged: Enthusiastic participation, attentive listening, and positivity are at our core.
- We Are Respectful: Every member honors our teachers, peers, and the cherished space we share.

- Time For All Ages: Enjoy captivating stories and interactive segments during each service, streamed live on Zoom.
- Sunday Morning Classes: Kick off your Sundays at 11:15 am, following our “Time For All Ages” segment.
- Gym Time: Unwind with free play every Sunday from 12:45-1:30 pm.
