In honor of Earth Week, Unitarian Universalist leaders from across New York City will host a special zoom hour of prayer, learning, music, and climate action. We’ll hear reflections by UU clergy, youth, and eco-justice leaders to inspire us to action and ground that action in faith. Special guests include Aly Tharp of UU Ministry for Earth, Xaver Kandler from NY Renews, and Adam Podd, Music Director at First Unitarian, Brooklyn.

Our time together will culminate with a brief opportunity for action, right then and there from our cell phones, guided by NY Renews. We will be making calls to support the Climate and Community Investment Act (CCIA) in NY state (https://www.nyrenews.org/ccia).

This event is sponsored by First Unitarian, Brooklyn; Community Church of New York; Unitarian Church of All Souls; Fourth Universalist Society; Unitarian Church of Staten Island; and UU Congregation of Queens. For more information, contact Rev. Ana Levy-Lyons at ana@fuub.org.
