Our May In Conversation is with Roxanne Felig. We will be considering how we do research, science and feminism, social media and feminism, confronting the patriarchy and much more!

About Roxanne:
“I am a social psychology PhD candidate at the University of South Florida and my research investigates attitudes and perceptions toward women. I have approached this overarching theme from multiple perspectives: men’s attitudes towards women, men and women’s perceptions of other women, and women’s self-perceptions. By understanding how women are impacted by their position in society, I aim to identify mechanisms that can ultimately make women’s lives better. Research I have led has been highlighted on BBC news, Psychology Today, and every news source from the Huffington Post to the New York Post. Beyond academia, I seek to translate research to application, convey science to the general public, and empower others with what I’ve learned.”

She can be found online here.

We’d love to have you join us on Tuesday, May 17th at 7pm Eastern.

The event will all be held on our main Zoom link: https://zoom.us/j/8972538131
