At Fourth Universalist, our teens are an important part of our community. Our youth group meets every Sunday from 10am-11am and then joins the adults for worship. Led by our Youth Coordinator, the youth group talks about who we are, what we believe about Unitarian Universalism, and why it matters in our everyday lives. In the process, a community is formed, where youth are both challenged and supported, a place of friendship and fun.
For the 2016 – 2017 year, our youth ministry will focus on putting our principles into action. While we might believe many different things, Unitarian Universalists are united in the commitment to working for a world that is both more loving
and more just. We also believe that young people can have a tremendous impact. This year, we want to look outside ourselves and into our community: to explore the challenges around us, to learn about our neighbors, and to engage with people and movements working for progress and positive change.
The youth group is open for all teens grades 7 through 12. If you have any questions, we would love to hear from you. Our Youth Coordinator, Mai-Len Kennedy, can be reached via email at email@example.com.
