On May 5th and 6th NYC Landmarks Conservancy hosted the eighth annual Sacred Sites weekend, and Fourth Universalist participated for the first time! This year’s theme was “Sacred Sounds and Settings, and we presented two events during the weekend.
On Saturday we had an open house in which visitors took self-guided tours of our beautiful sanctuary. Easels were set up throughout the sanctuary with beautiful posters so that people could read about the highlights of our building, our history, and our congregation’s current activities.
On Sunday, our music director Sean Mayes led a concert featuring our casual choir, soloists and guest musicians. It was a phenomenal evening, and no one wanted to leave afterward! Congratulations to all on a great success!
