Fourth Universalist Society
You are invited to join the Fourth Universalist Society in hosting Dan McKanan, professor of Unitarian Universalist history and theology at Harvard Divinity School for a special discussion of his new book, A Documentary History of Unitarian Universalism. In it, McKanan brings together our tradition’s most important historical documents, featuring writings from ancient heretics, Reformation-era radicals, denominational founders, prophetic preachers, social change activists, theologians, and more. A special focus will be given to Unitarian Universalists from New York City!
If you are curious to know about where our tradition comes from and how we got to be where we are today, we hope you’ll join us. It is a special opportunity to get to know the foremost scholar of Unitarian Universalist history and hear his thoughts. The program will be held in the sanctuary of the Fourth Universalist Society from 7-9pm on February 21st. All are welcome!
